Christine receives The AoC Gold Award for Further Education Alumni 2009
Christine is one of 6 recipients
to receive the Gold Award for 2009.
Nominations were sought from all
Further education colleges
and Christine was nominated by Myserscough College.
She received her award during
The Essex Show as she was unable to attend the awards
reception which took place at The Houses of Commons on June
4th 2009.
The awards were presented by
Giles Long MBE, President of the Association of Colleges
Charitable Trust.
Previous Award winners include.
Stephen Fry, Baroness Betty Boothroyd, David Moorcroft,
Alan Titchmarsh and Natasha Kaplinsky.
